Is anyone else having problems logging into metalink? It seems that after they decided to change the login the site just died. It is horrible that this site is just so hard to reach these days.

Same problem here! Just hope they've remembered to add an index on the email address column...

It worked for me yesterday during the day (Monday 22 May 2006 Australia). I was even able to change my email address - shock horror!!

It works for me today as well.

BUT the bast*rds have attached our email address to our user id. I can see a lot of spam coming our way. They don't even have the decency to enable us to block return emails.

Ok, I got in and changed my user to my email address. But now it states (incorrectly!) that my CSI is not active. As I write this I have a mail of Oracle before me stating that my CSI "coincides with your OPN Membership Dates". Our OPN is valid until March 2007. Sigh, what a mess.

I STRONGLY suggest setting up an Oracle only email address that is not your work address as you will be getting quite a bit a spam from now on.

Will do, I was planning to change it anyway. That's the only advantage I can think of: you can change your email address.
