I need to import data from an excel file into a remote oracle database using toad. Using the import->table data option in toad, I need to select the table into which I have to import and then click on "Show Data". But this will display all the records that are present in the database and so takes a lot of time. Is there any way by which I can skip this step and only insert the data into the table?

I think y try SQL Loader utility ..it is meant for this
