Database version after applying Oracle Critical Patch [message #172291]

Hi,

After applying the critical patch for 9.2.0.6.0 version, the database is not updated with the patch set number. My understanding is it should be 9.2.0.6.<patchset number>

Can someone please clarify this?

According to the document, the last digit is a Platform Specific Release Number.
