Greetings,
I read a post in ORAFAQ about BLONG in forms. I am working on a similar kind of requirement. It would be useful if you could share any information that you have on how to go about decoding this.
Thanks,
Sharmila

We are trying to read and understand the FMT - provided by the Form builder 6i. For triggers and program units it gives a series of hexadecimals and the type is specified as BLONG. We are trying to find out if there is any way to interpret that.

Thanks for your reply. I had a look at the tool. Even though it scans through the form, it will not be sufficient for us.
We are actually developing an in-house tool. One functionality of the tool is to search and analyze the Oracle form. It would be of great help if you could guide us to a built-in which can interpret the trigger code.

Considering that FormsTool's big brother, Forms API, can read and update Forms components, and act as a macro tool for Forms preparation, I don't know what else you could need that it can't handle.
