Hello,
I am very new to Application Server and Oracle Portal.
On a Win2000 64 bits server I have installed OAS 10gR2 (10.1.2.0.2) infrastructure + Business Intelligence and Forms. Then I upgraded Oracle Portal to 10.1.4.
We also have a proxy server. I configured the proxy settings for the portal and I understood in order to use the OmniPortlet I have to configure the proxy settings also for the OmniPortlet provider (my application uses a OmniPortlet in order to read from a .csv file).
In portalTools when configuring proxy setting for the OmniPortlet provider, together with ProxyHTTP, port, username, password I must specify a realm (otherwise when I click the OK button I receive a message error saying the realm cannot be null ).
What is REALM ? There are some default values for Portal that can be used?
What value should I use ?
Any help will be appreciated.
