I am a Science graduate and MBA-in Finance,passed outin 1998. Then I have worked in Mutual Funds,Hsg Finance and Insurance field in ops and sales, Now i am 32, Will a course in Ora Apps help me get in to this field?
Pls Guide me for this tough decision..

You can work as Oracle Finance Functional person provided that you are having enough functional knowledge.
Try reading Oracle apps user manuals and if possible have some hands on.
