hello
suppose i have :
an oracle9i database server called A on an xp machine named x & another oracle9i database server called A on an xp machine named y
if i shutdwon the database on sever x
took a backup of data control and redo + init file
shutdown database on server y
delete all datafiles redo control init
(i dont need it its 4 the purpose of clone)
paste the files of the database from server x
and startup
it will work ?
is it considered as a right clone of database on servex ?
