Hi
When i try to load Oracle 9i on HP tru64 then in the last when intallation process try to create database (run dbca) fails error message giving
"ORA-12547: TNS: lost Contact"

Also when I try to login as sysdba

same message coming

Pls. help me in this regard i have tried it to 4 times but problem still persisits

It is possible/likely that the OS kernel parameters are not correct

check if there is any patch available on metalink, could be software problem
