Hi,

There is a need to migrate Reports6i to 9i in Oracle9iAS Release2 on sun solaris 9 environment. We have deployed all the RDF, JSP & REP files in Unix. The web application works fine but when we try to run/call the report from the web application it gives the following error.
"REP-3000: Internal error starting Oracle Toolkit." .

Can any one please help us. Work stopper for us.

If the DISPLAY environment is not set correctly for the Reports Server on UNIX platforms, issuing any command to run a report results in the REP-3000 error.

Set DISPLAY=<iP_address of server>:0.0

r on Server login with oracle user and lock the screen. (It is not the proper answer for 10g. 10g gives DISPLAY settings but for oracle 9i just login on server with oracle user and lock the screen.
