I'm maintaining a Oracle 9i DB running in Windows 2000.

I need to check the list of SQL statements (in a sorted order) that occupies highest system resource (memory and I/O) in a DB server.

I don't have STATSPACK installed, but believe that i need to fiddle around with v$sql views etc.,

A ready-made DB script for doing this, would be appreciated.

Please help.

Regards,
Jayaprakash

Statspack is the easiest method and is a 'ready-made' script.
You can find the top resource consuming sql and the top wait events .
Zoran Hudec has written a handy script which may be helpful for you.
