Hello,
I have 12 pages long report. Now I want 1st page and last page in separate file. Is there a way to do this?

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Hi,
can you ftp the report to your PC and then open it is word, cut and paste to new files.

No I do not want to do that.. Because I have a shell script, which will kickoff sql script and sql script will generate that report.

ANY HELP???

head -66 report.txt trimmed.txt
tail -66 report.txt >> trimmed.txt
