Hi All,

I have partitioned tables with context indexes on them and I need to drop some older partitions. I would like to know what I should do with context index. Is this managed automatically by Oracle?

My concern is if either I have to rebuild indexes or not after dropping a partition. Please give me some assistance on how is the proper way to drop a partition in a table with context index, because the database is too large and rebuilding the indexes would take weeks.
