Hi all

when i m trying to alter the storage parameters(next extent) of the rollback segments, i m getting the error.

Can the storage parameters of RBS be modified?
plz help

Give the error, please. Are You use LMT for Your raollback tablespace?

when i give

ALTER ROLLBACK SEGMENT R03
STORAGE (
NEXT 40 M);

it says

ORA-25150: ALTERING of extent parameters not permitted
=
I use LMT

If You are using LMT, than You cannot change any storage parameter on tablespace or object on this tablespace. I advise to You to use Automatic Managed Rollback Segments (Oracle 9 and upper) and You will have not any problem with rollback segments.
