I am using report 2.5 and i want to know whether a report is printed or not . if it is printed then how many time it is printed.

That is practically impossible ... you might trace how many times it was SENT to a printer, but was it printed or not ... who can tell? Did you have paper in printer? Was it powered on? Was the cable attached? Unless an operator checks whether it is actually printed, I guess you can't do much about it.

If reports are created in a form (by pressing the button), you could save this event in a database table. However, this is also only approximately correct as no one says that report was actually printed and not only viewed on the screen.

Perhaps there is a way to do what you need, but I don't know it. Wait a little bit more; you might get the answer sooner or later.
