We are using Oarcle 10G release and IIS-6 in our web application.
After moving to oracle 10G we started getting this error
ROW-00001: Cannot allocate memory
now and then. If we restart, the problem gets resolved.
Applications stability is broken because of this.
Can anyone please comment if this is a known issue.
Thanks,
Sunil.

This (10.2.0.1.0) is the database version, not a client version.
You'll see the client version when you run SQL*Plus (presuming - if there is more than a single Oracle product installed on your computer - that you actually ran a correct SQL*Plus executable):
M:\>sqlplus x/y@ora8
SQL*Plus: Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production on Uto Ruj 20 10:30:28 2011 (client)
Copyright (c) 1982, 2005, Oracle. All rights reserved.
Connected to:
Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 8.1.7.0.0 - Production (database)
With the Partitioning option
JServer Release 8.1.7.0.0 - Production
Or, even better, run the Oracle Universal Installer - it will display all products you have installed.
P.S. So: what Stayi said was to upgrade client software, not your database.
