I have installed oracle 10g on linux 4 .I have a OS user called
ORACLE through which i could connect to the database cwbes as sysdba.I have so many databases on the OS .

I have changed the oracle_sid as CWBES In .bashrc of all the OS users namely ORACLE,root, cworks etc

I could connect from ORACLE user (OS user) as
sqlplus '/ as sysdba'.

But i could not connect from root as

sqlplus '/ as sysdba'

For this i need to change group permissions of root user. How to do
that?
