Now I am accessing Oracle with username system. I want to add a user named vrinda and grant different privileges to it.Please help me with the syntax of how to create a new user?

CREATE USER vrinda
IDENTIFIED BY <pwd>
DEFAULT TABLESPACE <tblspacename>
QUOTA 10M ON <tblspacename>
TEMPORARY TABLESPACE temp

Then grant priviledges as u need.

grant connect to vrinda;
