Hi all,

I am facing strange problem:

i hav eoracle 9.2.0.7
When i start oracle with user "oracle" no other user can access it through sqlplus,but when i start it with some other user every other user can connet to oracle using sqlplus. Obviously the first method is correct but it is not working somehow.

Can anybdy help me in this.

Do a "ls -l $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oracle" and post the results here.

$ ls -l oracle
-rwsr-s--x  1 oracle dba 93303013 Jul  9  2005 oracle*
