HI,
I have windows professional on my system and i am using oracle 9i.i have a database on which many user can log on can INSERT,UPDATE,DELETE so i want to keep a log of user and system ip from which the database was altered so i have want to get ip address of system from which the process is triggered

Hi

The following should give you the IP Address of the Client..

SELECT SYS_CONTEXT ('USERENV', 'IP_ADDRESS')
  FROM DUAL
