Other people have asked a similar question in this forum. I think they wanted to use a function key to drive a trigger. I think the answer was to modify a 'res' file and thereby change the key mappings.
But basically, although it may sound like a good idea to put a trigger under 'key left' and 'key right' it is such a significant deviation from the normal behaviour and will cause 'issues' of when 'do you' and when 'do you not' want this trigger to fire, I STRONGLY recommend that you rethink the design and DROP THE IDEA ALTOGETHER. Just my opinion.
