Hello!

What is the difference between exp and expdp? In exp, BLOB i.e images won't be exported? For using expdp, any directory is need to be created in Server?

Can you any one guide me?

Regards,
Mohan

If I'm not wrong, EXP is a name of Oracle Export utility prior to Oracle 10g. EXPDP is the same thing, but from Oracle 10g it is no longer called export but export data pump (so it has "DP" attached to "EXP").

[EDIT] Sorry, I didn't see that the same question was answered earlier.
