hi everybody
v have oracle 9204 on windows 2000(two node and a common storage) .. this is not
RAC, this is a simple failover but here failsafe is not
installed though all the 4 dataabse are running fine but the
5th db which i have created is not working perfectly,, i m
able to accces my db(common storage) from 1st node but when i
m moving my cluster to 2nd node i have to startup my db....
every time but when i m moving my cluster from 2nd to 1st node
i do not need to startup it..... (TCS people said that this is
not a standard setup either u have a RAC or failsafe must be
installed) but without failsafe remaining four db are
working.......
can anybody tell me what is this setup n how could i get
my db in open mode from 2nd node??????
