Hi all,

When I am trying to install Oracle 9.2.0 on Linux ,
I am getting the following errors.

(1) Error in invoking target ntcontab.o of makefile
/d01/oracle/product/9.2.0/ins_net_client
(2) Error in invoking target nnfgt.o of make file

what may be the reason,
My linux version is 9.0, I degraded kernel version to 2.4.1,

Thanks in advance
Subbu

Hi Subbu, Hi Frank.

There is an incompatibility betwen Oracle and the version of c++ that's shipped with linux.

Check this link, will be usefull:
