Dear all,

I have searched and searched but not find any informative doc about Oracle vs Changing system clock.

What are the risks of changing the System clock when Oracle is running ? It is a 10g Release 1 (Standard Edition, no RAC).

Thank you.

Oracle will still work as expected. However, watch out for things like backups that may expire, jobs that may run out of turn, etc.

Best regards.
