Hello all,
I am trying to install Oracle 9.2.0.6 client on a remote windows desktop using terminal services. When I insert the CD on my PC and select Insatll option of the Universal Installer, it is mapping to my PC rather than the remote desktop which is open.
Can anyone let me know, how can I specify oracle to install on the remote desktop rather than on my PC?
Thanks,
Ozzy

This is a blatent guess, but I would think you would need to copy the files to be installed through the terminal services window to the actual pc that you want to install them on. Then run them to install them on that pc. This would be a general issue in that the terminal services allow you to control another computer, but in so doing you are only doing tasks with things on that computer you are controlling.
