hi , pls tell me a right concept that
if one d.b can with a undo_tablesoace only one , which run in undo 'smu' mode ???
if d.b system exist one more undo_tablespaceS , how to allocate it ?

ORACLE9IR2 ,WIN2K,single instance ........

"Every database needs its own undo tablespace".

thanks tarun..
just want to make it clear that if in a oracle database ,it 's own one undo_tablespace only ? and we can't create one more undo tablespaces for d.b , is it right ???

You can create more than one undo tablespace for a database but at a time you can use only one.
