Hi everybody,
I now monitore more 60 targets from my Grid Oracle 10g and I the only database I didn't backup yet is the emrep repository itself.
What is the better way to do it ? A cold backup, which necessary to stop the database, so I don't know if I need to stop all services from Grid and reporsitory ? Or, can I put this one in Archive Log mode and make some hot backups every week ?

Thanks for your help.

David

not sure if its the correct way to go as I have not used 10G yet but can you perform a backup controlfile method to achieve what you want.
