Hi,
I have to implement a data guard where both primary and standby databases use ASM for flash recovery and data files. I want to know how to make the backup available to the standby. I’m not using a RMAN catalog for backup only the control file. When I implemented the data guard with file system I was able to copy the backup sets to the standby database. But with ASM it’s not possible. It would be a BIG help if one could give info on how to achieve this. Thank you!
