I want to install oracle database for server machine,what product i need to choose to install the software?I am confius with Oracle 8i enterprise,personal... what is difference of this product?How to get the ip for server machine?

If you are doing a fresh intallation then why dont you go for Oracle 9i/10g . Oracle 8i is obsolete now.
Anyways , Enterprise edition contains all the options so it would be better to install enterprise edition.
--> How to get the ip for server machine?
Depends on the OS you are using. You didnt mention the name and version of OS anywhere.
try
command on windows
and
command on *UNIX

Thank for your quick respond.That mean that i need to install enterprise edition in server machine.It it correct?If i want to install oracle 8i in client machine,What the product i need to choose for oracle 8i?I use Window NT for my client machine and server machine.

Yeah it would be better to choose Enterprise edition for both Server and Client .
While installation on Client you can opt for Oracle client installation rather than Server.
