Hi Guys,

I am trying to install Oracle 9i standard edition onto a Unix AIX platform.

I have 4 mount points - one for the software, one for the datafiles and two for the redo logs and control files.

30% through the install I get the error 'Exception: Unable to find createDirRecurse in Library fileActions, 2.2.0.10.0, >0.0, [ 610 ]' and have to cancel.

Also noticed that the software mount point has now come offline. Does not appear when I enter df.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Hi,

I have been discussing this with our Unix Sys Admin and it appears the error is due to an incorrectly configured SAN.
