hello
i upgrade my server from 8i to 9i on windows xp
i import the user psd for example , when i connect to the application in 9i i got this error
ORA-00980 synonym translation is no longer valid
is it because tablespace in 8i are dictionnary managed and in 9i locally managed ..
help is really appreciated

As per oracle documentation

ORA-00980 synonym translation is no longer valid
Cause: The synonym used is based on a table, view, or synonym that no longer exists.
Action: Replace the synonym with the name of the object it references or re-create the synonym so that it refers to a valid table, view, or synonym.
