Hi,
I am using Oracle 10 R2 on HP rx2600 (IA64).
When I startup oracle instance, I notice a consistent error message "Error 942 occured during Bufq Startup Notifier".
Does anybody knows what is causing this error?
Thanks.
Jeffrey

No. I did not have any customizations on glogin/login files.
I reuse my old 9i database creation scripts, to build the database.
An interesting observation is that the Error has stopped appearing during database restart.
Someone told me that the error is due to non-existant object and suggest that I rerun the catproc/catalogs scripts. However, the error disappeared before I can recreate the catproc/catalogs.
