Hello all,
I am not a DBA, but am asked to do export of a database on a dev server to our unix box in another server for later use. Please let me know how can I do this.
Can anyone tell me in detailed steps on what to do.

Thanks Mahesh, I read thru the second link of urs' but can u tell me what am I missing by not choosing FULL=Y while exporting... looks like to do FULL=Y u have to have the DBA permissions, which I don't and I did the export something like this today...
exp scott/tiger file=<file> log=<log>
this command worked for me... can u plz let me know would I be missing something by just doing this and not giving FULL=Y option...
