Hi,

We I have 2 questions :

1) How do we set up a dblink between 2 database instances located on seperate servers ?

2) If I have a dblink for databases within the same server, will i be able to create synonyms for the objects refered via the dblink ?

Could someone help with this please. We require this quite urgently.

1. Lookup the "CREATE DATABASE LINK" command in the SQL Reference Guide.

2. Yes.
