when I do a select * from dba_db_links or all_db_links, I get no records found.... any idea ... why is that . I am logged as sys user.

Please help.

SQL> show user
USER is "SYS"

SQL> select * from dba_db_links;

no rows selected


I didnt get either. Why do you get any records if you have not created any database links yet.
