hi all
we r having oracle 8.1.6 on UNIX sco 7.3(1 GB RAM) at the end of the day we running an application every day but this procedure takes 45 min. while the same application ran on a windows platform it is taking 15 min. so how can i diagnose this problem.... do i need to tune this then how
plz help me......

Can you please elaborate further what exactly you are doing here?
Also mention oracle + server configuration & Db & application location.
