Hi
We are using Oracle 8.1.7
I have a doubt in rgds MV's .
Can any one please explain me the following
We have different tables, we are trying to create a views using
those tables (we need this for reporting)but it takes long time to run and display the data, so we thought of creating MV which will store data in a physical table where we can have some indiex and rest of other stuff , here are my Q's
1) How to start with MV , how to create MV
2) We want to that to refresh very frequently , how to do that , how it will refresh , do we need to schedule this from DBA side or we need to take care while creating MV.
Any other suggestion for first time MV creater.
