Dear Friends
i have some problem.

Following is my query

1) After os is loaded , before we give username/pwd,
oradim.exe -- application error is executed .

2) After giving ok and entering into windows , oracle fails to login.
In isqlplus , its giving an error oracle not found and
Shared memory problem.

3) I tried in entering in cmd prompt , in c:\ prompt after giving sqlplus , its throwing an error saying sql.exe- application error

How to solve this problem. Whether its possible to recover the old datas , in case backup not taken.

Look into Control Panel --> Administrative tools --> Services ,

is your Oracle service running .
Can you post the exact error codes that you faced.

It looks that there is some problem with Oracle Software.

hi,

I think your database is not started , better to see the services in administrative tool as guided by tarun... you have to start that service to start your database.

HI

do configure all your oracle services to start manually. Then after system reboot start each one-by-one & then look for the problematic one.
Pls Do let us know, where you get the error then.
