Hmmmm allright, My company has a client whom is running Oracle Version 9i on a Linux based O/S.
Now I thought since Oracle is a Upward Version based and it cant Go down Example Version 8 cant import from 9. Or 9.2 cant import from 9.4, 9.4 is the Linux version that the client is running and the Next Windows version is 9.2 so I cant import. Am I correct in saying this?
But I have the option to move from 9.2i to 10g so i can import the dump file into a database.
But would it be possible for the client to read the Information after I am done with it. If not do you know a way I could Move around this problem.
Thank you ahead of time.
