Intelligent agent on linux rh3 wont start after ip and name change [message #140465]

Hi,
Had to rename our red hat linux rh3 server running oracle 9.2 and give it a new ip address and name. Everything is running perfectly except the intelligent agent which does not want to start up. After checking through the logs we see the error below....

NMS-00001: Warning: dbsnmp cannont connect to SNMP Master Agent

Any ideas on a cure for this other than re-patching or installing the intelligent agent again ? Many thanks for any suggestions.
