Hi

I've hit a problem installing 10g onto an AIX 5.3 system.

I'm using a DVD as the source for the installation. All pre-installation tasks have been completed.

The installation gets as far as checking the OS level then fails as it requires 5200 and finds 5300. I would have thought that higher number releases would proceed, but no.

Anyone come across this problem and know how to work around.
