Hi

i am frm india.

I wanted to give introdcution to SQL (IZ0-007 )examination but the proble is that when i gone to registor my name for examination they told me that you can't give the examination directly mens they wanted to say that oracle Inc. made the rule you should take at least one modile trainning from oracle cerify centers.

it is true or false.

is there any possiblities to give the exam directly.

ple help me.

If we're going to be appeared in DBA track exams then training is mandatory. However, for the Developer track it's not necessary. One of my colleagues passed the SQL exam for OCA here in Kuwait. I don't know about the procedure in India. But for the Developer track, I'm sure that training is not necessary. This should be true in India as well if it's true in Kuwait.

The mandatory requirement is only for the DBA track. You need to get trained on atleast one of the papers, only then you would get the OCP certificate.

For the developer track ther is no such requirement.

And you can take up the examination for DBA also without training but you wont get the OCP certificate unless you put in the training information.
