hi all

i have oracle 8.1.5 and trying to take user level export but when the utility export all tables and about to take the other objects(synonyms,index etc) so it give the following errors

.exporting synonyms
EXP-00008: ORACLE error 904 encountered
ORA-00904: invalid coloumn name
EXP-0000 : Export terminated unsuccefully

plzz it's urgent

Hi sana,

Meanwhile anyone chips in to give you a solution , you can try what i know -

1. Are you using the same version of export utility to export ?
mean to say , Does this server host any other higher version of Oracle.
If it is so then the path will be set to the latest version of export (do correct me if i am wrong), i suppose.
