Hy everybody,
I got a problem with the Oracle table description when exporting numeric fields from Access.
I made a DSN ODBC link between Access 97 and Oracle 10g, it works !
I use Access Export to OBDC function to get an Oracle copy of my Access table. When all fields are integer or text it works very well, I got a good Oracle table script and all data are fully usable.
But for each double numeric field, with or without decimal, the Oracle field type became VARCHAR !
I do some test with other ODBC version but I get the same problem.
I don't want to use Oracle Migration Workbench because I have already loose a lot of time to try to install it without bug.
