I have P4 Pc. I have installed oracle 8i few day ago. Developer 6 and Oracle 8i is working with each other very well. I can log into DBA Studio. I want to import my oracle8 tables into Oracle8i. When I am trying to import from DBAStudio it is giving me following error.

The Wizard can only be launched when the application is connected to OMS. Launch the application and connect to OMS before trying to launch the wizard again.

Please help me.

Thanks

Advanced options like exp/imp and b&r are only available when you have created an enterprise manager repository.

There is a menu option Start--> Programmes --> Oracle
--> Configuration and migration --> Enterprise manager Configuration assistant.

This'll install it, but you really need to read up on this before you do anything.
