hi
can anybody let me know how to make a broadcast a message to all
my clients that a database is needed to be shutdown for some time

hi,

Right now I had not goen throung the document related to your question but ...I know it is possible through OEM you can schedule the process of broadcasting message to every client throung the OEM.
