Hi,
What method of database migration from 8.0.5 to 10g can be considered the best? I guess there is no one-step procedure to perform such kind of migration, maybe the distance between versions is too large.

If the database is not too big, create a new Oracle 10g database, export the old data and import into the new database.

All other upgrade options will require an upgrade to 8.0.6 (the terminal release for 8.0); then a second stage upgrade to 10g.

Best regards.
