Dear Sir,
I am new in Oracle. I have installed oracle on Windows 2003 Server. The oracle version is 8.1.6.0.0. When i installed it, it works fine. But when i have restarted my computer. It gives the error ORA-01034 Oracle Not available.
How to solve it. I have installed the oracle 3 times due to this only but every time I faced the same problem.
Please help me urgently as i am stuck due to it.

oracle service is not running & hence databse is not open.
For starting.. since you are using win2003, make oracle services startup automatically at system startup, listener & SID service for oracle in admin-services panel.
or
manually start the listener by using: lsnrctl start command on cmd prompt & then starting the sid service by using: oradim -startup -sid <sidname> at the command prompt.
