Hi!

I would like to install an Oracle 9i at home, but I have no idea what should I do next upon installing the software. Is there any sequence for creating a test database which I could use, I need to learn java with oracle, jdbc. Thank you so much Sir/Mam.

And if you are just now learning, I'd suggest using 10g not 9i. The installation guide walks you through it.

Hi!

Thank you so much for your post, I've got some
howto's from google, on installing 9i, I'd also try
10g. I hope my pc can handle it, anyways thanks again.
I'll post for updates.
