Hi,
I have a problem within one of the development boxes - when a user runs a script to create schema - tables, indexes, constraints, views, Oracle DB hangs up and it take over 5 min to create an index or to add PK on a new empty table.
What could be the problem? What do I need to look first?
The DB is accessible and on line though.
Thanks,mj

May be problem with roll-back segment.

They are fine on Auto management. I had 71 pieces and no changes to the system has been made for the last 5 month. Almost every week we have the same tests running and last week everything was fine. The problem just started yesterday. There's plenty of disk space for all tblspaces. Redo logs are 5x2G, switch every 20-30 min. Buffer_log - 2M but there's no waits found there.
Thanks a lot,mj
